1. Scope of this policy
Eedo provides communication, collaboration, reminders, video calling, and related workflow services. This policy applies to information we process through the Eedo mobile application, our website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
If you use Eedo through an organisation, that organisation may administer your account and set policies for its workspace. In that case, it may also have its own privacy notices and practices.
2. Information we collect
We collect information needed to provide, secure, and improve the Services. Depending on how you use Eedo, this may include:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, phone number, profile details, login credentials, and organisation.
- Service content, such as messages, files, reminders, meeting details, and other content you or your organisation choose to submit.
- Usage and device information, such as feature interactions, browser or device type, operating system, IP address, and diagnostic logs.
- Support communications, including information you provide when you contact us.
We may also receive information from your organisation or from integrations you choose to connect to Eedo, subject to the permissions and settings associated with those integrations.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to provide and operate the Services; authenticate users; deliver messages, calls, reminders, and requested features; provide support; protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with legal obligations; and improve the reliability and usability of Eedo.
Where required by law, we rely on an appropriate legal basis for processing, which may include performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, consent, or compliance with a legal obligation.
4. Mobile app permissions and store disclosures
Eedo may request device permissions only when needed for a feature you choose to use. For example, access to the camera or microphone may be needed for calls or media you decide to create; access to photos, files, or storage may be needed when you choose to attach or save content; and notifications may be needed to deliver messages, calls, and reminders.
You can deny or later change these permissions in your device settings. A feature that depends on a permission may not work without it. We will provide a clear in-app explanation before requesting sensitive permissions where required.
Our Google Play Data safety information and Apple App Privacy details will be kept consistent with this policy and will include data handled by Eedo and by any third-party SDKs used in the app.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Retention periods can vary based on the type of information, the service plan, and organisation-level settings.
Some organisations may configure retention, deletion, archival, or backup policies for their workspaces. Deleting content from a workspace may not immediately remove it from all backup systems, where retention is necessary for a limited period for security, legal, or operational reasons.
7. Security
Eedo uses administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and protect access to your devices and account.
8. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. You can request deletion of your Eedo account and associated personal information by emailing us at the address below with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.” We may need to verify your identity before responding. If your account is managed by an organisation, please contact that organisation first; it may be best placed to fulfil your request.
9. Children’s privacy
Eedo is not intended for children under the minimum age required to use online services in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Eedo, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our Services or legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will post the revised policy and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required.
